What is foam metal?
Foam metal is porous metal with certain strength and rigidity. This kind of metal features high porosity, low weight, and the pore diameter can reach millimeter level. Normally there are two ways to make foam metal:foaming process and electroplating process.
Foaming process is prepared by adding foaming agent to molten metal.
Electroplating process is copied into foam metal on polyurethane foam skeleton by electrodeposition process.

The density of honeycomb aluminum floor is higher than the ultra light porous aluminum foam floor because the aluminum section frame is needed for honeycomb aluminum floor sides but not for the ultra ligh porous aluminum foam sanwich board. It results the costs for the honeycomb aluminum floor is much higher. Furthermore, the ultra light porous aluminum foam sandwich board has much higher performance in mechanism strength, sound-proofing, shock absorption, heat-insulating than honeycomb aluminum.

Generally speaking, small samples are free of charge and we also shall pay the transportation fees at first time, However , if you need big samples,. all the fees shall be borne on you, including sampls fees.

Our panels can be machined as easily as wood, using conventinal techniques like sawing, drilling and etc. It also can be nailed, screwed and bolted joint for ceiling, wall and flooring.

It is a cellular structure consisting of solid aluminum which containers a large volume fraction of gasfilled pores,The pores can be sealed (closed cell foam), or they can form an interconnected network(open cell foam).
